Recently, the Acting Vice Chancellor/ Registrar Dr. Tilak Ram Acharya, along with his family and the Dean of Buddhist Studies Dr. Manik Ratna Shakya, visited Thailand to explore potential collaborations with various academic institutions and organizations.

During their visit, they had the honor of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dhammakaya Open University, which is a well-known Buddhist university in Thailand. This MOU signifies a strong commitment to collaboration and exchange between the two institutions, and we look forward to exploring joint projects and initiatives in the future.

In addition to their visit to Dhammakaya Open University, Dr. Acharya and Dr. Shakya had the opportunity to attend a ceremony at Dhammakaya Temple and visit the Dhammachai International Research Institute. They also had a fruitful conversation with the Director of the International Buddhist Studies College at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, exploring potential joint degree programs and collaborations.

Apart from their academic engagements, Dr. Acharya and his family also had the chance to explore the vibrant city of Bangkok.
